How to Start
Slide the letters on to the white squares in the grid to create a complete crossword.
It uses normal dictionary words with English spellings. You can slide them over each other but they must
stay in their original row or column.
When you think you have it (or are really stuck and give up), you can tap/click on this button

History
The puzzle was invented by Laurence May at Vexus Puzzle Design, Amersham, UK and marketed
as ‘Lexica’. It was designed as a pencil logic puzzle but to me it works most effectively as a
computer puzzle. The Times (from March 2010) and the Sun newspapers publish daily puzzles in print and
online so there are plenty to choose from. The Sun uses the name ‘Word Slide’. My three puzzles
give you an idea of how it works.
