Pages from Wilford Woodruff’s Journal On His Mission to the United Brethren
These two pages appeared on the internet some years ago and I archived them.
Unfortunately I did not record where they came from so I can only say ‘source unknown’.
Looking at the handwriting example below, I believe these pages are in Wilford Woodruff’s hand.
They list the names of some of the people baptised at the pond at Hill Farm, Castle Frome, just north
of Bosbury parish. There do not appear to be any Bosbury people in the list but this is an authentic record
of the time of his visit. If anyone understands why several names are noted as ‘priest’ I would
be interested to know.
