Harvesting hops at Bosbury Townend Farm
on BBC Escape to the Country
Jonnie Irwin came to visit Mark Andrews at Townend Farm in the autumn of 2015 (in a series episode devoted to Shropshire!) to find out about growing hops. Mark grows both short and tall varieties of hop including Fuggles, Cascade and Challenger and sells bines locally for decorating pubs and houses. The farm has a website and also a Facebook page, simply called ‘Townend Hop Farm’, with all the latest news.
