BOSBURY is a large parish and village 5 miles from Ledbury and 13 from Hereford. The church of the Holy Trinity restored in 1859, is a plain edifice, detached from the tower; the latter is a massive square building, containing six bells and a clock; the living is a vicarage, in the patronage of the Lord Bishop of Hereford. There is also a national school, and a Wesleyan Chapel in the parish. The population in 1861, 1,090.

POST OFFICE.–Sarah Kendrick, Postmistress. Letters from all parts arrive (from Ledbury) at half-past nine morning, and are dispatched thereto at four afternoon. Nearest money-order office is Ledbury.
