BOSBURY.
BOSBURY is a parish, township, and village, in Radlow Hundred, Ledbury Union,
near Ledbury, and about 145 miles from London. There is a church. The living is a rectory;
the incumbent is the Rev. John Hanmer Underwood, M.A. There is a National school for boys
and girls. The population, in 1851, was 1,133, and the area 4,769 acres. For parish purposes
the township is divided into Bosbury, Upleadon, and Catley parochial divisions.
Bosbury House is the residence of Edward Higgins, Esq., J.P. This is a cider district.
