The parish church of St. James is situated near Bosbury in the neighbouring parish of Canon Frome. It is situated in the grounds of Canon Frome Court. The Rev. Michael Hopton transcribed the two volumes of the Parish Register of Canon Frome covering 1680 to 1812 together with the Bishop’s transcript of the register before 1680. The Rectory of Munsley was united to the vicarage of Canon Frome in 1854 and Rev. Hopton was Rector from 1859 to 1871. Download the book here.
